Please help me!

Hey everyone!
So, I have a problem. Our computer had a virus and now my brother repaired the pc, but I lost Sony Vegas. I have
loooot's of trouble downloading it again! I have now Windows 7 and I tried and tried and tried but it won't work!
It always says that my activation code / authentication code is invalid Can someone help me??

Well, someone in DDS uploaded a link to a cracked installation file...but it's for Sony Vegas Pro 8...I dont know if that's what you had, but it's better than nothing, right?

Yeah it's better than nothing! I think it will be almost the same as sony vegas 9.0 pro? I'm now downloading it! Do I need that keygen thing too?

Okey I downloaded it and tried to start it, but it asks for an authentication code (A) What now?

Okay to answer your first question,I think it's just missing a few effects.....If I'm correct, you won't have fill light, starburst, defocus, glint, rays, and soft contrast (I'm not sure, since I've only used pro 8 ). To be honest, there's even a way to get those effects on pro 8, you can search how to on YT. No keygen needed ^^

Hmm....I always forget what to do here -___- *fails* I definitely know you don't need an authentication code...is there any way to move on without it, or x out of the box?

You can try searching YT for a tutorial ^^

I did that for like four straight hours but nothing works :O

This is how I got mine. Here's a tutorial on youtube for vegas pro 9, if you have problems, make sure you read the description as they have all the solutions like my problem was the keygen would come up saying "error has occured while patching the files" and I had to run the keygen as administrator before I patched. Note: Follow the tutorial very carefully, do this and you shouldn't have any problems! Hope this helps!

Well, if SV 9 really isn't working...my only advice is to try to learn to deal with SV 8 ;__; Better than nothing, right?
Or, you could probably call Sony and see what they say (if you bought it the first time...and I'd leave out the free downloads part ;D)

Okay, so I was working on my newest project (top secret, I can't divulge much) but I was masking in the Video Event box and I clicked just outside to look at the screen and see how the masking was, and when I tried to go back to the event box where I was masking it was GONE!!! O.O How do I get the Event FX/pan crop window to be visible again?! Please help!!!!

Yeaaaaah I did it After trying one thousand times again I decided to use the 64 bit and it worked immediately so I can edit again I'm sooooooo happy I really missed my sony vegas xD
