The Story behind your Username/Nickname???

Okay, so I've been wondering about this for a while now (cause some of your usernames and nicknames are just so darn cool!) (and yes I'm talking about you DragonofthePen XD How wicked is your username! bwahaha!) So I thought to myself, gee, I wonder if there's a story behind their usernames? Mine's harrypotterfangurl07, so I guess I might as well start

So, since elementary school, I'd been reading the harrypotter books, and I became such a hardcore geek, that I started a club at my highschool, in which we were all divided into houses, and ran different charities, battled against eachother in talent shows, and such. It became so popular at my school, that we even made people prefects, and came up with our own nicknames. I was dubbed Care Bear, for different reasons. One, for the fact that I'm a very huggy person, and can usually be seen with my friends hug - glomping them incessently (hey, a study shows that if you get at least 8 hugs a day your happiness levels are higher than the average person) but there was another reason. If I had simply been loveable they would have just called me Care or Joy or something. The other part of my name "Bear" comes from two direct club incidences. I was the Hufflepuff head prefect in year 3, and we were throwing a christmas charity bash to celebrate reaching our 16,000 dollar donation to the cancer research facility in toronto, and some jocks thought it would be funny to hide all our decorations we made for the dance. When I found out, I ripped a piece off them, and then got revenge by hiding their hockey gear, saying I wouldn't return it for their qualifier game unless they gave us back the decorations. They did, but afterwards people compared my temper to that of poking a cute cuddly bear who was hybernating. The second time was when our wilderness survival class took a fieldtrip and dumped us out to survive in the wilderness for a week unsupervized, and again, some dumb people thought it would be fun, to hide my groups tent. It was raining, and we just happened to stumble across a nice cozy little cave... >.> Luckily no animals were living in it, and we got the people in trouble that took our tent. So that's the story behind my name "Care Bear" and harrypotterfangurl07 was my youtube username that I created for when I had a presentation to do in our class. My lucky number is also 7 (its my jersey number in softball and quidditch).

What's your story? or if you don't have a story, why'd you pick your username and nickname?

Let's see, I guess I'll start with my user name: EarthsAngel767

Well, back in '06 I found out about youtube and started watching anime videos on there. I wanted to comment and rate, but I couldn't unless I had an account, so I made one and had a hard time coming up with a(n) username, that is until I saw one of the stickers that was on my tv (long since deased XD) "Earths Angel" so I thought "Eh, why not?" and I put that down and decided 767 for the numbers, because 777 means Jesus, Heaven, and whatnot, but seeing as I'm not any of those things and nowhere near perfect, so I put 767, just because XD Also, I lied about my age on youtube X3 I put I was 18 when I was 14, because I wanted to watch shows and videos that were, apparently, "Only to be seen by those who are 18 and over" *rolls eyes* Yeah, right, the stuff I looked at wasn't bad at all. XP

Now, for my nickname "Sweeney": You can think a friend of mine from college for that one, the only nickname I can say I like XD She decided to dub me "Sweeney" because everytime she saw me, she thought of the song "Johanna" from Sweeney Todd, and that's basically it. Though, I did LOVE Sweeney Todd after I watched it (I saw it for the first time after she gave me the nickname XD)!

Mmmkay, my turn I guess! I had an old YT account (which will not be named because I don't want any of you finding it!) and it had a really dorky name I made up in 5th grade. Needless to say, I needed to break from it XD So I went to make a new account, and sat there for the longest time. I wanted something creative, but with no numbers. After like a bagillion tries, I remembered some username I saw on a different site, "Mimiliimi or something like that. So I thought it was cute, and took the Mimi part of it. And....well I like muffins, so WHAM-O: MY USERNAME XD

That's the most boring story ever, isn't it? Obviously people call me "Jess" because my full name is "Jessica". Hoorah. The only other nickname I have is for tech crew; "Eevee" (yeah, like the Pokemon). But there is literally no good reason for that nickname. They just call me that XD

LMAO. That's not boring at all Mimi. haha, now I'm curious about your old account!!! haha, yeah, my highschool was awesome. A lot of us were artsy-fartsy as my dad would say, so we got away doing a lot of stuff that would be discouraged in normal highschools XD and EarthsAngel, I was wondering where that came from!!! haha, and I love your nickname. That's so awesome, I love that musical too!!! and no worries, I lied about my age on youtube as well just so I could watch south park, which I'm pretty sure is as bad as they go. (my parents don't let me watch it at home, so I watch it on my laptop secretly. bwahahahaha!)

Well, now you know! I love my nickname too, better then "Jojo" Only one person is allowed to call me that, so don't even try XD XP I never liked South Park, too gross for me. What I was trying to watch was an episode of Fruits Basket, but youtube wanted to be mean, so I had to lie People are weird, saying that somethings aren't suitable for those under the age of 17 or 18, I mean, I started watching InuYasha when I was in the fourth grade! I didn't even notice the cussing until I got older XD

Also, I wish I could have gone to your school too! I don't know if I would be a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, I love them both, actually XD lol Though I never went to highschool, I was homeschooled and recently graduated from homeschooling Though, I was taking college courses while I was homeschooled, now I'll be a full time student! Can't wait, because I love the college I've been attending!!! (Bla, bla, bla, sorry to bore you with my personal life XD)

aw, that's so awesome!!! Good for you. Actually the way we decided was putting on the sorting hat and then having someone spin the spinner (think of the game twister and how you have to spin the thing? Sorry I'm bad at descriptions XD) but that's how we decided, and whatever we got, was our house Homeschooled people are so smart, so that's awesome. haha, yeah I watch inuyasha and fruits basket too!!!! and lol, I'm one of the few people that can laugh at vulgar humor, any humor really. I'm a big fan of those dumb, funny movies, and stand up comedy.

Yeah, I can agree with that ;D Ravenclaw is one of my favorite colors: Blue, but I don't think I'm smart enough to be in that house XD

Thanks! ^-^ If I went to your school, I probably would have complained if I had gotten a house I didn't like XD I'm not that smart, I just happen to live right across from my college and I love it there3, it's like my home away from home (even though my house is a walk away XD) I'm not really a fan of dumb movies, I'm more of a fan of intelligent humor and some slapstick XD One of the reasons why I love Non/Disney movies so much, El Dorado and Sinbad are examples

Soooo, when I was *thinks...* 11 years old, I first discovered that the internet was a fun place to grow and nurture unhealthy obsessions. And my first obsessive fandom became Stargate SG-1. If you don't know what that is, don't worry--you're not missing ANYTHING. It's sort of a campy, poorly-acted scifi series, but, at the time, I felt so grown up watching it, and I got my first celebrity crush on this actor that was like 30-something, so...it was fun times for me. So that explains the "SG1" part of my username.

As for "DannyPhantom," that was, and still is, my favorite TV show of all time. Ever. And I think it was because of the fanfictions out there.

Which brings me to a further explanation for my username's unoriginality. So, the first website I ever joined and posted stuff on was fanfiction.net, and when I created my account, I wanted to be cute and be "SG-Phantom" since those were the only two fandoms I had ever written for. Unfortunately...someone had that name already. -_- (WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!), so, pressed for time since my parents did not know I was creating this account, I just switched around the basic idea.

I've regretted it ever since.

But it's been my online name forever, so...I didn't wanna change it. I often shorten it to just "DPSG1" (to hide some of my unoriginality) which is what I tried to join youtube as, but, again...someone had that. o.O I feel like I'm being stalked/sabotaged.

And my name is "Liv" because my real name is Olivia. But most of my friends call me "Liv" or "Livy." Yop.

I LOVE SG-1! I personally think the acting is great and the characters are fun XD And I LOVE Danny Phantom, I miss that show But, yeah, personally I love your username.

Btw, I usually have a different username for every site XD Like on deviantart I'm "FireandWater258" and I use a different user name because I'm paranoid about someone figuring out my password and hacking into my account Also, on fanfiction.net I'm "HeavenandEarth" XD Haha, I'm weird... lol

I guess mines pretty obvious. Since I like Greek Mythology, my username is based on the Goddess Iris, the Goddess of Rainbows. So, there you go. But personally rainbows to me are a symbol of joy and happiness cause they are so bright and colorful, and I'm a very colorful person, I like to stay happy and positive. I'm always laughing and smiling, and I'm not a very sad or depressive person at all, or at least I try not to be.

But yeah, I basically have a different username for every site too. Nowhere else does I have this username, besides MEP group forums and such. I think I go in a cycle. Like one year, 2006-maybe, all my usernames ended with Aquarius. Now, most of my usernames begin with Angel. XD

Haha, I have a pretty lame story for my YT username. xD I signed up for youtube in 2006 or something, and then I wanted to use the name "Idun" (in norse mythology she was the goddess of youth, more or less), because I kinda used that name everywhere. But it was already taken, so I didn't really know what to do. I had Within Temptation's cd "The Silent Force" lying right in front of me on the desk... So there you have it.

Haha, and as for my nickname, Ellie, it's just short for Ellinor. I used to be called Ella or Nora, and I absolutely HATED that. I've finally gotten people to stop using those nicknames, mainly by threatening to dismember them or something. Haha, I'm also called Tonks by a few of my friends, because she was my favourite Harry Potter character, and like her I usually fall over all the time, and for a while I changed haircolour every week (I went through all the important colours: Green, pink, purple, black, blue. I felt so cool and rebellious.)

bwahahaha! I remember back in the day when I loved SG-1 and Danny Phantom too. I used to be such a trekky as well. (They'd play the old reruns of the show on the cable tv I had, and I loved it.) Aw Iris, that's so awesome, I had no idea your name was based off greek mythology!!! Haha, yeah I have another username with the word angel, but I'll keep that one a secret, its way too embarassing XD Omg lol, silentforce that's amazing! You instantly win dancing gerbles for dying your hair. (lol, first prize that popped in my head). I wish I would have had enough guts to rebel. And no worries, everyone has a nickname they hate. My real names sarah, and everyone thought my name was so funny backwards (kinda spells haras, or to sound it out correctly the way my friends sounded it out "harass") so they called my that and people used to think I was some kind of pushover/gang leader. Daniel Jackson is LOVE!!!!! XD I'll always love him! I loved Danny Phantom because it had ghost and it was just soooooooo COOL!!!!!! And Danny was sooo cute! That show sould have stayed and Fairy Oddparents should have left (loved the show in the beginning, but it got dull for me =P)
